COMMUNITY CONNECTION | LONG & SHORT TERM NEEDS

As of this update, Grand Quest is operated as a sole proprietor DBA. Several months ago, I changed my W4 at my primary employer to withhold more taxes so I would get back enough to retain a law firm to establish a non-profit. In all I hope to accomplish, the paperwork will be complicated. It is estimated to cost $1,500.00 to establish. The work I have done to date has been without income and a great deal of out-of-pocket expence. So if you are with the IRS or Work Force Development (unemployment compensation), envision the smiles, hugs, and tears of all those I have helped in my spare time. It speaks for itself. The Lord knows I've been there too! Not long ago. And now I'm giving back what I can - when I can. I am a rich man!

Single women are buying homes today in greater numbers. Many wish they had a man around the house to take care of the things that drip, clank, and squeak. Many are stretched meeting the household budget. Some of these things when let go, cost many times what it would have to fix it when first noticed. I may be able to offer solutions, rather than you putting it off. Even if just coaching you through the process, or you assisting me.

Community Connection

At some point in the near future, my hope is to provide services on a sliding fee scale or well below market value based on the type of service rendered. A needs assessment may be required for reduced fees of materials/parts and labor.

There are people who are willing to help others while pursuing their passions and utilizing their skills beside myself. My goal is to bring these people together to serve as a resource which will impact those whom benefit, as will the community. Future service areas are listed to the right.

Referrals are welcome! If you know someone who is struggling with a task or could simply use some help and would benefit from a act of Christian kindness, let me know. See contact information below.

Fulfilling Long and Short Term Needs

  • Future Grand Quest services will respond to the needs of low-income families and individuals. The programs we will offer to our neighbors in need attempt to make both an immediate and long-term difference in their lives.

  • Car Care Program will provide services and parts so residents do not lose access to jobs, school, or health care.

  • A future Transportation Program will offer services to seniors and individuals unable to transport themselves to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or visits to hospitals or nursing homes. Volunteers may provide rides in vans or their own cars. The future Transportation Program will offer information and referral services in addition to transportation services.
