You can be a part of Wisconsin's conservation tradition by getting involved in the Angler Education Program. Angler Education helps to provide youth with the opportunity to:
- master basic fishing skills
- explore Wisconsin's aquatic resources
- and develop a set of ethics to help ensure that Wisconsin's lakes and streams will remain bountiful for generations to come.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Grand Quest Wisconsin is looking for volunteers...
- who enjoy working with children
- who like to fish or would like to learn by helping to teach others
Volunteers provide...
- time
- enthusiasm
- a commitment to: offer Angler Education Program in their communities or to mentor in an existing program

The Brown County Triad, a local collaboration of law enforcement staff and community agencies |
is collecting cell phones that are no longer in service. These phones will be reconditioned and given to senior citizens for use of 911 in emergency situations. Phones can be dropped off at the Aging & Disability Resource Center, 300 South Adams St., or at the Volunteer Center, 984 Ninth St., Green Bay.
