Become a part of Wisconsin's conservation tradition by getting involved in an Aquatic Education Program. Enrolling yourself or a child(ren) in an Aquatic Education Program helps to provide youth and adults an opportunity to: master basic fishing skills, explore Wisconsin's aquatic resources, and develop a set of ethics to help ensure that Wisconsin's wetlands, watersheds, lakes and streams will remain bountiful for generations to come. It's up to [us] to be Stewards of our natural resources.

Become an Aquatic Education Volunteer

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Grand Quest Ministries is looking for volunteers who enjoy working with children and also like to fish or would like to learn by helping to teach others. Volunteers provide their time, enthusiasm, and a commitment to offer an Angler Education Program or work with an organization that currently does in their communities.

If you're considering volunteering in some way, follow these links to find out more about being an instructor or a coach/buddy. You will be required to attend a FUN filled volunteer training workshop. Grand Quest Ministries will host a workshop for local volunteers. Please e-mail mentoring@grandquest.org or call (920) 662-0783 for more information about this exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, our communities and natural habitats.
