Press release: Shut Up & Dance
Hip Hop workshops with Cedric Gardner | Fond du Lac |
Cedric Gardner, finalist on SYTYCD Series, danced his way into your hearts on the ABC hit series "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE", appeared in the Wayans Brothers movie "DANCE FLICK" and the Black Eyed Peas music video "ROCK THAT BODY". Now he's back again at Shut Up & Dance sharing his talent and love for dance!
Cedric Gardner, a principal dancer in the soon to be released dance movie "STEP UP 3-D", has also performed with Ne-Yo, Sheila E., Gloria Estefan and Neil Young. He has appeared on "America's Got Talent", and will be teaching Hip Hop workshops on Saturday July 17th at Shut Up & Dance ballroom studio located at 325 Winnebago Drive. The day kicks off with a beginner youth class at 5pm, followed by a level I Hip Hop class for adults at 6pm, and a level II Master class at 7pm. Classes are $15 each.
No experience is necessary for Cedric's classes, but advanced registration is encouraged as class sizes will be limited.

Green Bay Community Church / Ballroom Dance
Instructor: Dale Walton
Are you someone with two left feet? Then Ballroom Dancing is perfect for you! Instructor Dale Walton actually finds it easier to teach the novice. Practice is at 6:30 p.m. when Dale is available to lend some one-on-one help. After a prayer, the class begins at 7:00 p.m. Everyone's encouraged to stay for the entire hour and a half. The first half-hour is geared towards beginners, the second towards people who have been attending for a while, and the third towards people who have been coming for a long time. Dances taught include the Cha Cha, Waltz, Rumba, Swing Hustle, Jitterbug, Foxtrot, and the Four Step. |
