Will there be a chat room and forum on this site?

We had a chat room for a month and forum for 6 months on FoxValleySingles.com, and only 4 people used them. We will be adding the chat room in April 2005 on this site along with a forum. They will work together. The user will create a user name which will work on both. It will have a profile feature with the ability to upload one image. The vendor for this software is working on writing it to accept up to three images. I think you will like it. It's cool! As far as setting it up, the chat rooms and sections of the forum can be password protected so only those with a user name allowed to enter, will be able to view it. My opinion is, I don't think we have anything to keep private, so this feature will be turned off. If you want a out of sight-out of mind chat or forum, e-mail me...asap! |

Will there be classified ads available?

Will there be files for downloading?

Currently there are no files for our visitors to download. A "file exchange"(free access) and a "vault"(password protected for partners to use) are being created. We have partnered with providers of E-books and software. It will take a few months to get it up due to other pressing matters, but it's coming. |

Will there be a password protected members area?

The only reason one might be necessary is to protect the content within a directory. At this time, it's unlikely since we are not a singles group and don't charge anyone for the services we provide. |

Is there a way I can make a Personal Page?

Yes, we help people make personal pages and help small business get a site up under their own domain name. If your referring to needing some help making a web page on geocities or Yahoo, no. Grand Quest will be offering a web site building/Internet use workshop if there is enough interest in spring. E-mail me if you're interested. |

Will there be a Shopping Cart?

Yes, we are currently working on that project. We have set up an account with PayPal and eBay to provide this service. Since we don't want folks to ring up major debt on credit cards, PayPal will take e-checks and debit cards. It may be ready mid 2005. Visitors will be able to pay for events online. It will be an avenue for people to sell things they make at home as a hobby. There are several uses for the "Grand Quest Online Mall." Watch for the Grand Opening. |
